Great quality product with one minor flaw.

I got this cable because I move my Xbox or ps3 from my to my girlfriend's house and got tired of bringing the cables to her house, and my girlfriend has a Wii so no more cable hot seat I thought. They work perfectly, no weird anomalies, and the cables feel solid. The Xbox connector even has the optical out on it, which microsoft's cables lack.

Unfortunately if you have more than one console plugged in at the same time the audio goes quiet, so I'll have to switch physically between cables when I want to play a different console.

Overall very satisfied with these cables. They can sit in my bag for if I visit a friend's house.

This was the cheapest cable that I could find that was made by a company that I would trust. It works exactly as I expected and it is a noticeable improvement in video quality for my Wii. The only reason I got this is because I wanted to play my Wii on a LCD monitor and it has either a composite input (the yellow plug that comes with the Wii) or a S-video input (this product). I was unhappy with the quality of the composite input especially when it came to the text. This cable sharpened the text to a manageable level but it's still not perfect. If I had the option on my monitor, I would have gotten a component cable which would have been the best available for the Wii. If you have a Xbox 360 or a PS3 and would like higher resolution I would recommend a Component or HDMI cable instead. I am happy with this product because it does what I expected it to, it's not the best solution, but it's the only solution for my situation.

Solid S-Vid Cable

I've gone through three (this is the third) s-vid cables for my Wii.

The first one was from a certain internet cable e-tailer that everyone and his mama fawns about. While that one worked, it was obviously cheaply made because it suffered from the dreaded screendoor effect.

Next cable I got on here from Amazon. It was made by an unfamiliar manufacturer. That one didn't even work.

So finally, in comes the Philips cable. No screendoors. No blur. All sharp and clear.

All in all, I'm very happy with this cable.

A Very Good Item

This is a very good item to improve graphics from composite video to s-video without buying spiltters or extra cables. this works for the wii, ps2 and the xbox 360 consoles. the switch to s-video quality looks similar to HD(with or without a HDTV.) I recommend this product to anyone who wants to upgrade their quality from the standard yellow-plug composite video to higher s-video quality.
